Contacting a Counsellor can be a little nerve racking, please be reassured! I am a friendly professional therapist, providing a safe and non judgemental environment to explore your concerns.

If you have the courage to make contact, you are already on the way to dealing with, and addressing your issues.

Building a relationship that you feel comfortable sharing in is the most important part of Therapy and I aim to do so in a supportive, constructive manner. I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor, working with Adults, Youth and children, including Special Educational Needs.

I completed my training within Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), an NHS Service,  also within Educational environments (Schools and Training), Young Peoples Counselling services and 2 Bereavement organisations.  Currently I work in the NHS and Private Practice, also in an Educational environment, having done so for many years, counselling Adults, Children and Youth.

I also work, Counselling all ages those who have had, or currently are, affected by Cancer, and their relatives.  In addition I work for a major Employee Assistance Program, Counselling those at risk of Redundancy/ Long term Illness or work related issues.

My Areas of Counselling Include:

Bereavement and Palliative work

Children’s Behavior: Emotional and Educational Difficulties and Learning Difficulties (Asperger’s, Autism) and Developmental Trauma

Therapies offered: An Integrative Counsellor using what is appropriate to the Individual including:

CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Counselling, Gestalt, incorporating aspects of Art and Play Therapy.



Fees from £38 per hour
In addition to having BACP Accreditation my Qualifications include:
BACP Registered and Accredited

Diploma in Humanistic and Gestalt Therapy
NCFE Levels 2 and 3 in Counselling
Specific training in working with Children, Trauma and SEN
CBT, OCD, Solution Focused therapy etc
